The development of IMS (Integrated Material Systems) began some 25 years ago and has progressed steadily with knowledge gained by our system users and our highly skilled staff. IMS has strong IT and user support groups from such diverse backgrounds as project purchasing, warehousing, construction, pipe fabrication, welding and fitting, office management and accounting.
As IMS is a privately owned company with excellent financial status, enhancements to our system on behalf of our clients or new ideas from our staff are completed quickly in house and without delay. We continually upgrade for new client requirements and when new applications are identified. IMS applications have been used in over 40 major projects in the US and Canada.
IMS Fab Track provides an integrated material and management solution for fabrication/modularization and site warehouse activities, including the use of barcoding for IMS system updates. The systems will store data provided by the Engineering model, management systems, supplier and shop fabrication systems to give users a unified project overview for management and reporting from Engineering to Construction signoff.
